Useful SEND Websites

Finding the right support or further information about special educational needs can feel overwhelming at times. It is our hope that we can make things a little easier by signposting you to some of the websites we find the most helpful for our families.

SEND Local Offer

Provides a comprehensive range of information around the services on offer through Norfolk County Council for children with SEND and their families. It also provides information about Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and specialist schools.

Norfolk SEND Partnership

An independent advice and information service aimed at helping parents and carers navigate the journey to getting further support (e.g. EHCP applications, appealing school placements, finding the right support service etc.). They also run several parent and carer coffee mornings, giving families the opportunity to talk to other families about their experiences and share ideas.

Just One Norfolk

A help and advice service for parents and carers aimed at supporting concerns around all aspects of childrens’ health and mental wellbeing. You can call them too on: 0300 300 0123.

Point One

https://www.ormiston.org/what-we-do/mental-health-and-wellbeing/point-1/
A support service aimed at providing early intervention for children who may be struggling with their emotional and/or mental wellbeing. Parents can refer directly into this service using the form on their website or calling them directly on 0800 977 4077

Kooth

An online service aimed at providing a free, anonymous counselling service for older children and young people (Year 6 plus).

Early Help and Family Support

Aimed at providing help and support if you are experiencing difficulties in your family or are worried about your children. If you wish to know more about this service, please contact our Parent Support Practitioner.
