A Warm Welcome

Welcome to Tuckswood Academy and Nursery. We are proud to be a part of the Broad Horizons Education Trust.

At Tuckswood we believe that children, parents, staff and the wider community play a crucial role in shaping children and their futures. As a school we strive to provide a rich and well developed curriculum as well as skills and experiences to prepare children for later life. To help children grow we promote the Tuckswood 5; Be Kind, Be Curious, Be Ready, Be Resilient, Be Proud. Everyone at Tuckswood follows these rules and they help us to create a positive culture where we learn from mistakes and from each other.

We are very much a part of the local community and work hard to develop good links with those around us including businesses and schools.

We actively promote a close working relationship between children, parents and staff and welcome parents to many events at school. This allows parents to be able to be part of their child's learning journey and help us to provide the best possible learning outcomes.
